For over three decades Ron Rubin has been one of the busiest
animation voice actors in the country. His voice can be heard on
countless popular cartoon series. He has worked with top directors
such as Stan Lee, Tim Burton and Howard Morris at some of the
most elite production companies in the world of animation including
Disney, Warner Bros., Paramount, Nelvana and Marvel
Entertainment.
Ron has created and voiced a multitude of iconic cartoon
characters in a succession of hit animated television series such as
Marvel’s Comic’s X-Men (Morph) and Avengers (Vision) as well as
the Emmy Award winning Beetlejuice cartoon (Doom Buggy,
Announcer). Other notable credits include lead roles in Police
Academy (Lt. Mahoney), DiGata Defenders (Flinch), Angela
Anaconda (Uncle Nicky), Totally Spies (Manny), SideKick (Master
XOX), C.O.P.S. (Dr Badvibes), Stickin’ Around (Mr. Lederhosen),
Turbo Dogs (Sergeant Gruff), Care Bears (Messy Bear), Mad
Magazine and Tales from the Cryptkeeper to name a few.
Ron’s also been a force in the world of Anime, appearing in a
multitude of shows including Bakugan and Beyblade among others,
but he’s probably best known for originating the voice of Artemis in
Sailor Moon, a role he performed for the entire North American
english dub of the series.Ron Studied acting at The Neighbourhood Playhouse in New York
and has performed with Second City as well as having toured North
America as a featured Stand Up performer appearing at such
renowned comedy clubs as Catch a Rising Star, The Improv, andThe Comedy Store. He has been a celebrity guest at numerous
Comic Cons throughout North America.Ron is currently one of the most in-demand voice coaches in the
country. He conducts animation workshops, teaches private
classes in person and online and produces both animation and
commercial demos.
