Kevin Conran - Sat, Mar 20 -

Kevin Conran co-created the landmark Paramount Pictures film, SKY CAPTAIN & THE WORLD OF TOMORROW, which starred Jude Law, Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow. Working as an art department of ‘one,’ the interior and exterior sets, props, vehicles, and layouts all derived from his hand. The film itself was the first of its kind. Shot entirely against blue screen, its unique design and production process paved the way for modern digital filmmaking.

Kevin received the Saturn Award for Best Costume Design. This June, Dynamite Entertainment will publish Kevin Conran’s ART OF TOMORROW.

He would go on to work with DreamWorks Animation on the feature films BEE MOVIE and MONSTERS VS. ALIENS and later help develop projects for Paramount Pictures, Paramount Animation, Sony Pictures Animation, Nickelodeon, ABC, Mattel, Cartoon Network and  Disney.

Returning to DreamWorks as the production designer of the award winning TV series DRAGONS - RIDERS OF BERK, Kevin was credited with helping raise the bar in televised animation.

Beginning his career as an illustrator, his clients included; Coca Cola, Mercedes Benz, Sony and The Ford Motor Company. An avid sports fan, some of his favorite work was created for the National Basketball Association, Major League Baseball and The Harlem Globetrotters.

Most recently Kevin has been busy with Warner Bros. SPACE JAM 2 and BLAZING SAMURAI starring Samuel L. Jackson and Ricky Gervais.
